Coming from a .NET/Java background, I found this book (Essential Actionscript 3.0) and the Programming Flex 2 to contain pretty much all the knowledge I needed to get up to speed quickly. Very quickly. Must haves in my book. I have all new people whom I work with, get these ASAP. And then I give them a list of blogs and forum websites that I consider useful.
